Case 04

Creating a Financial App to Empower Youth

Fintech

A Financial app that Helps Youth Learn, Save, and Grow.

Helping Youth Build Smart Financial Habits Through Simplicity, Learning, and Gamified Experiences

Project Overview

A financial app designed to help youth learn about money, build smart saving habits, and grow their financial skills through interactive tools and challenges. It empowers teens to manage allowances, set goals, and track spending, with parental oversight built in.

Problem Statement

Many youth grow up with little understanding of money management, leading to poor financial habits later in life. Existing tools are often too complex or not engaging enough for young users. There’s a need for a simple, fun, and educational app that helps teens learn the basics of saving, spending, and financial responsibility from an early age.

Visibility Over Control

Parents want to stay informed without needing to manage every step, transparency matters more than full control.
